The press service of the Losiny Ostrov National Park reported that on May 1, a new excursion route along the Verkhneyauzsky wetland complex on a motor-aft will start. Participants will be able to see the waterfowl inhabitants of the Yauza swamps - gulls, mute swans, mallards, coots and wigeons. In addition, the guides will tell tourists about the history of this protected area.
The route starts at the Elk biological station in the Moscow region. Guided tours of up to 40 minutes will be held every hour from 10:00 to 17:00.
The entire route will be accompanied by an experienced motoraft instructor. Before the tour, he will acquaint tourists with water safety precautions.
National park staff emphasize that the motor raft is driven by a quiet motor that does not disturb local birds.
