The number of overnight stays in tourist establishments in Switzerland has not yet recovered to the level preceding the coronavirus pandemic, but it has approached it.
According to the Federal Statistical Office, a total of more than 4.1 million overnight tourist stops were registered in August, compared to 3.2 million in 2019 and 4.5 million in 2019.
The good news is that Switzerland has retained its attractiveness for foreign tourists.
