Egyptian authorities have resumed hot air ballooning over Luxor after two tourists suffered minor injuries during a ride last Monday.
Hot air ballooning over Luxor offers tourists spectacular views of ancient temples.
Africa News quoted the North African country's ministry of civil aviation as saying “all safety measures and steps” had been taken before the resumption of the popular flights.
The ministry temporarily suspended hot air ballooning after a hot air balloon with 28 tourists drifted off course due to a change in direction and wind speed.
The balloon was at an altitude of 60 meters when the incident occurred.
It also slightly collided with another balloon before landing safely in an open area.
The two companies operating the balloons involved in Monday's incident remain suspended pending investigations.
A hot air balloon crashed near Luxor in 2013 killing 19 tourists.
At least 16 tourists were injured when their balloon collided with a cellphone transmission tower in 2009.
