Drawing contest “Arctic Palette” becomes international

The All-Russian art contest for children “The Arctic Palette” has become international.

This year the competition will accept the works of children and teenagers of 7 - 18 years from the countries of the Barents region - Norway and Finland.

The topic of the 2020 competition is New Earth.

Compositions on themes: "Nature and animals of the Arctic" and «Once upon in the Arctic" are also accepted.

The works should reflect the history of the development of the Arctic archipelago or plots from the life of Pomors (Pomeranian crafts, farming, the hardships of everyday life).

The competition is held in five age categories across two categories: amateurs (students of secondary schools, non-artistic professional educational organizations and higher education organizations) and professionals (among students of children's art schools, art schools, fine art and decorative arts studios, institutions additional education, children, students of art and professional educational organizations of higher education).

Winners will receive diplomas and certificates for participation, as well as valuable prizes.

The competition was organized by the Russian Arctic National Park (Arkhangelsk Region) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Arkhangelsk Office of the Norwegian Barents Secretariat.

Works are accepted until April 20, 2020.
