Direct flights will connect Sochi with Thailand for the first time

Flights from the capital of the 2014 Olympics to Thai Phuket will start on August 20. The flights will be operated by Onur Air.

- At the first stage, flights are scheduled from August to mid-November with a frequency of once every ten days and will be carried out on Boeing 767 airliners with a capacity of 336 seats. The travel time will be about nine hours, - the press service of Sochi International Airport reports.

For Sochi Airport, flights to Thailand are a new direction. Today, international flights to 13 countries are operated from the Russian resort, including Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, the UAE, Serbia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and others.
