Crimea creates a modern tourist infrastructure

On the western coast of Crimea, a modern tourist park will offer to accommodate 40-44 thousand tourists. The creation of a new cluster of active recreation “Embankment“ Golden Sands of Russia ” is underway. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Republic of Crimea.

600 hectares have been allocated to create a tourist park in the Saki region between the villages of Shtormovoye and Vitino, it will accomodate up to 1.5 million tourists a year. According to preliminary estimates, the implementation of this project will create more than 30 thousand jobs, budget revenues will exceed 6 billion rubles.

Within the framework of the second project - "Embankment" Golden Sands of Russia "- it is planned to comprehensively develop a tourist area on the western coast of the peninsula near Evpatoria with an area of ​​about 77 hectares. This will additionally provide about 20 thousand places for beach recreation and 5 thousand places for accommodation at the campground.

According to the head of the republic, Sergey Aksenov, last year five investment agreements in the field of tourism were signed in the republic for over 320 million rubles. Since 2015, this industry has initiated 33 investment projects of the agreement with a total value of 30 million rubles.
