From May 4th to 11th, the picturesque resort town of Kislovodsk in Russia will be transformed into a haven for extreme sports enthusiasts. The town will host the All-Russian High Line and Rock Climbing Festival, one of the premier events of its kind in the country.

This exciting competition will attract daring athletes from across Russia and neighboring countries. The breathtaking cliffs of the Berezovsky Gorge will provide the stage for the event, featuring around 10 designated climbing sectors. These sectors cater to all skill levels, offering challenging routes for seasoned climbers and accessible climbs for beginners. To ensure the safety of participants, top ropes will be pre-installed in all sectors throughout the festival.

Kislovodsk's stunning natural environment makes it the perfect location for such a competition. As city head Evgeny Moiseev highlights, "[The surroundings of Kislovodsk] are an ideal place for such competitions. Participants come from all corners of the country." He further emphasizes the town's established reputation for extreme sports, stating, "The festival is being held in Kislovodsk for the sixth time – the resort has become a well-known platform for extreme sports and highlining throughout the country." With its diverse range of climbing routes (over 400!) spread across various difficulty levels, the Berezovsky Gorge promises to be a thrilling playground for climbers of all abilities.
