Chinese tourists are returning to France amid the recovery of global tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to expert estimates, the attendance of tourists from China in France by the end of this year may reach 70% of the pre-pandemic level in 2019.
"It is expected that 80 to 110 million Chinese will travel outside China this year, and France remains the most popular European destination for them," said Sebastien Bazin, CEO of the French company Accor, one of the largest international hotel operators.
In the years preceding the COVID-19 pandemic, France was visited annually by approximately 155 million tourists from China.
