A special project for young travelers "Chizhik-Pyzhik", created with the support of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg, became available on the international audio guide service izi.TRAVEL, as well as in the form of podcasts on Yandex Music and VK Podcasts. "Chizhik-Pyzhik" is a poetic collection of stories about St. Petersburg written by talented authors and voiced by professional actors especially for children. The authors of the project call him "a friendly guide around the city." According to them, this is an ideal way to captivate the younger generation with the history and culture of the Northern capital, using a unique and memorable style,” the portal says.
The project "Chizhik-Pyzhik" contains 23 stories about the main sights of St. Petersburg - from the historical center to Kronstadt.
“Our goal is to bring the beauty of St. Petersburg to children all over the world through captivating audio stories that immerse listeners in adventures full of exciting events and memorable characters. Placement on new platforms will allow us to tell even more people about our city,” said Vyacheslav Chizhik, the founder of the project, whose words are quoted in the message.
According to Visit Petersburg, travelers are increasingly coming to St. Petersburg with children. In 2022, family tourists made up 51% of city visitors, and this trend continues.
