Japan’s first cherry Blossom season open to international travellers in four years is proving to be one of the most sought-after seasons yet. While Japan overall has received an increase in bookings for the year ahead, peak cherry blossom season (late March and early April) is particularly popular.
The month of May is an underrated month with good weather and gardens in full bloom, and Autumn gives spring a run for its money; the ‘Koyo’ autumn leaf viewing season kicks off from October to early December, lighting up mountainsides and temple gardens with fiery reds and orange leaves. Come winter, Japan boasts clear skies with snow covering much of the country.
