A cub was spotted near the hotel buildings at the Gazprom resort in Krasnaya Polyana. Hibernation for males of bears ended in March in the Sochi National Park, while for females with cubs it ended in April. In total, about 400 brown bears now live in the Caucasian Reserve and Sochi National Park.

Jackals also chose the territory of the resort. These nocturnal animals even changed their habits: they are roaming between hotel buildings in broad daylight in search of food. Users of social networks have already nicknamed one of these guests Yashka.

While tourists are at home, wild animals in Sochi explore mountains. They began to go out to the once busy trails due to the unusual silence and the absence of disturbance factors. In April, state inspectors spotted a roe deer while patrolling the yew-boxwood grove.
