The Astrakhan Biosphere Reserve invites people to meet autumn and see the first migratory birds. Until September 10, 2021, it is recruiting birdwatchers, nature lovers, naturalists and anyone interested in pristine wilderness and its feathered inhabitants for the ornithological tour "Meet Autumn!".

Participation in the tour is an excellent opportunity to make your own personal contribution to the study of birds, to get acquainted with the unique protected nature of the Volga delta. The members of the group will have interesting meetings with the protected inhabitants on the water and walking excursion routes of the Astrakhan Reserve through forests.

«Autumn is the time of massive migrations of birds, we have 307 species on their migration, including rare whooper and mute swans, listed in the Red Book, curly and pink pelicans, eagles, great and small cormorants, herons, waders, seagulls and passerines», - the reserve noted.
