"Arseniev Week" Fest to be held in the Far East

The press service of the Land of the Leopard National Park reported that the Arseniev Week festival will be held in Vladivostok from August 28 to September 3. During the days of the event, visitors to the Leopard Trail in the village of Barabash will be able to complete the quest "Following Arsenyev's footsteps".

Anyone can take part in the quest if they purchase a route sheet and follow the tourist route along the main ecological trail of the national park. Visitors will be able to learn about the fate and work of the traveler Vladimir Arseniev, as well as get to know the flora and fauna of Primorsky Krai. The participants of the quest will have to solve interesting problems, solve puzzles and make travel notes, as the explorer himself did.

In addition, special excursions, lectures, film screenings and master classes will be prepared for festival guests.

On Svetlanskaya Street in Vladivostok, thematic sites of the partners of the Arseniev Museum will work. Among them are the Center for Contemporary Art "Zarya", the historical park "Russia is my history", the Primorsky Oceanarium, the Botanical Garden of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the branch of the Tretyakov Gallery in Vladivostok, the Primorsky Regional Art College, the community We are locals (Local) and the association "Another Height ".

"Land of the Leopard" will also present a program consisting of lectures, eco-games and a demonstration of the operation of a camera trap. National Park specialists will tell you about how photo monitoring is carried out. On the site you can see a real camera trap in action. Also, guests will be able to play the Pathfinder game, during which they will learn to distinguish the footprint of a deer from a roe deer, the paw of a white-breasted paw from a brown bear, the gait of a leopard from a tiger, and a tiger from a large dog.
