On Sinichkin's Day, November 12, the annual conservation campaign "Bird-Tit" started in Moscow. Experts will hold about 400 free events where they will tell you how to help birds survive the winter and how to make a "restaurant" for birds. This was reported on its website by Mospriroda.
"The Day of Zinovy Sinichnik (Sinichkin's Day) is a celebration of the meeting of birds staying with us for the winter and, in anticipation of the imminent cold weather, flying closer to human habitation in anticipation of help from people. Specialists of the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection, Mosprirody, as well as volunteers in natural areas will hang feeders, in the cold season they will feed birds daily, pouring food into special "restaurants" and making edible eco-feeders," the message says.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
