The Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV) entered into an agreement with the Vostok Park Resorts company (owned by the Mantera Group of Companies, which manages large tourism assets, including the Krasnaya Polyana resort) on the construction of a theme amusement park with a resort and hotel complex at territory of Russky Island. The document was signed on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
“The concept of the theme park involves all-season operation. It includes a hotel and administrative complex, an agro-food park, a family entertainment center and the theme park itself with attractions that will be designed in accordance with the climatic characteristics of Vladivostok - 70% of the attractions will be located under the roof and only 30% in the open air." , - KRDV reported on its website.
The volume of declared investments under the agreement with the KRDV will amount to 26.8 billion rubles, the launch of the project will make it possible to employ more than 1.2 thousand local residents.
“The Mantera Group of Companies initiated the implementation of a number of important tourism projects in the Far East by 2030, within the framework of a public-private partnership, which will become new points of attraction for travelers choosing the Primorsky Territory. These include a theme amusement park and a resort and hotel complex on Russky Island, which will be implemented as a resident of the priority development territory (ASEZ) “Primorye,” said Nikolai Zapryagaev, general director of the KRDV, whose words are quoted in the message.
He added that today the procedure for transferring the land plot to the Mantera Group of Companies is underway, after which the resident of the Primorye ASEZ will begin developing the concept of the project.
