This year, more than 2.6 million people took part in the All-Russian environmental campaign to collect waste paper "BumBatl", which collected over 95 thousand tons of waste paper. Recyclables will be transferred for recycling. This was announced on its website by the Roszapovedcenter of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.
"The key goal of the campaign is to reduce excessive consumption of paper, organize its processing system and form an ecological culture. Every citizen of the country could take part in the project both independently and as part of a team," the message says.
From October 10 to November 15, the fourth season of "BumBatla" took place. As part of the campaign, the Roszapovedcenter team collected more than 120 kg of waste paper.
This large-scale environmental project is organized by the ANO "National Priorities" together with the All-Russian Ecological social movement "Ecosystem".
