For the same period in 2023, two times less silver acacia was imported, mimosa has such a scientific name. Given the rather warm winter, the supply of mimosa from Abkhazia to Russia began in early February. Mimosa, like tangerines and hazelnuts, is the main article of Abkhazian exports.

Mimosa is harvested only in dry weather. During the rain, the flowers close and lose their beauty. The work of the collectors begins at dawn and continues until dark. Given that mimosa is a perishable commodity on the Russian-Abkhazian border, it is accepted for registration as a priority.

The active import of mimosa from Abkhazia to Russia will end after International Women's Day.
