The construction of the Green Flow Baikal complex tourist project has begun in the territory of the Baikalskaya Gavan SEZ, with the participation of the Tourism.RF Corporation and an investor

“The project provides for the creation of a year-round tourist complex on the shores of Lake Baikal in the village of Turka, Pribaikalsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. A four-star hotel with 153 rooms will be built on an area of 1.7 hectares and a health infrastructure will be created. Commissioning is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2025," Tourism.RF reported on its website.

Green Flow Baikal is the first project with the participation of this corporation, which is being implemented in the central ecological zone of the Baikal natural territory.

As noted in Tourism.RF, the construction is being carried out "taking into account all legislative norms and requirements in order to preserve the unique nature of Lake Baikal".

“We treat the development of the project in the central ecological zone of the Baikal natural territory with all responsibility and care: the object is being implemented on an artificial harbor and is inscribed in the landscape and existing engineering facilities, and the treatment facilities created in the Baikal Gavan SEZ are the most modern in the Baikal natural territory ”,  said the general director of Green Flow Baikal LLC, Alexander Tertychny.

In his opinion, the opening of the complex will allow as many Russians as possible to see the beauty of this territory, and the future thermal health complex will become a place of rest for Russian and foreign tourists. Tertychny added that the project will combine nature, local culture, health programs, balneology and oriental healing methods.

The corporation "Tourism.RF" believes that the appearance of the complex will increase the flow of tourists in the region.

“The Russian government has provided all the measures of state support that are fully involved in the creation of this project. Thanks to the implementation of the national project “Tourism and the hospitality industry”, the well-organized and well-coordinated joint work of the region with the Tourism.RF Corporation and the investor in Buryatia, modern accommodation facilities are appearing, the tourist infrastructure is being updated,” said Sergey Sukhanov, CEO of Tourism.RF.
