As EcoTourism Expert came to know, the coronavirus pandemic prompted the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to launch virtual tours to ancient sites.
After the breakout of the COVID 2019 pandemic, all museums, archaeological sites, and ancient monuments of Egypt were closed until further notice. However, now everyone has the opportunity to visit tombs and other ancient monuments of this country from home. Moreover, the technology allows not only to study wall paintings in 3D projection in detail, but also to obtain comprehensive information about the meaning of each plot.
