Roman Luchin, a resident of Karelia, is preparing to launch his tourist project "Point of Attraction", which is being implemented using the benefits of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) and the Hectare program. On the peninsula of the White Sea, near the settlement of Chupa, travelers are already waiting for cozy houses. This was reported on its website by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).

“Just two years ago, I prepared a project to create a tourist center in the ancient Pomor settlement of Chupa, and now the first stage is already preparing to receive guests. Instead of tents and sleeping bags, cozy double houses with a shower and a toilet are waiting for them. Panoramic full-wall window gives you the opportunity to fall asleep and wake up with a view of the sea. Travelers will also be able to enjoy the untouched nature of Karelia, ”KRDV quotes Luchin.

According to him, for the implementation of the project, thanks to the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic, a land plot was obtained without bidding near the village of Chupa and in the same place - “Arctic hectares”. In addition, Luchin won the grant competition of the Karelia Tourism Administration and received funds for the construction.

“25 modular houses have been installed on the leased site for tourists to stay among untouched nature, and it is planned to develop a recreational area on free “hectares” - viewing platforms, a climbing wall and a marina for lovers of boat trips on yachts will soon appear here,” the KRDV said.

The entrepreneur is also going to build a cafe, a bathhouse and a tourist center.
“I called my project “Point of Attraction”. Chupa is open space, sea, rocks, these are historical sights. It has everything to attract tourists not only from all over Russia, but also from abroad. On May 25, the first guests will come to us, and in June, I hope, we will already accept participants in the North Karelia half marathon and reach full capacity,” Luchin said.
