The multifunctional hotel complex "Uglich Passage" will be built on the territory of the historical center of Uglich in the Yaroslavl region. The project will be implemented as part of an agreement signed at SPIEF 2023 by the Governor of the region, Mikhail Evraev, and Andrey Nikiforov, General Director of Volga Estate LLC.

“The hotel complex “Uglichsky passage” will consist of two hotels of categories “3 stars” and “4 stars”, designed for 138 rooms. There are places for catering, spa, children's infrastructure. A building of shopping arcades will be located nearby, ”the Department of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region reported on its website.

Externally, the buildings will be stylized as pre-revolutionary urban development, lost at the beginning of the 20th century. Inside, the hotels will be decorated in a modern classical style with the maximum use of eco-friendly materials. Each room will have access to the Internet.

The events will be held until December 2026. It is expected that the creation of a hotel complex will multiply the tourist flow. The project will be implemented by the investor together with the corporation "Tourism.RF".

“The tourist flow to the Yaroslavl region is constantly increasing, and in the high season we clearly see that the hotels in the region are filled to the maximum, there are not enough of them. And we set ourselves more and more ambitious goals to attract guests, we plan to increase the number of overnight tourists not just at times, but by an order of magnitude, ” said Governor Evraev.
