27 hares released into the wild in Moscow

The official website of the Mayor of Moscow reported that 10 individuals of the white hare and 17 individuals of the hare were released into the wild in the Troitsk and Novomoskovsk administrative districts. All the animals were specially raised and adapted to live in natural conditions.

Last year, 100 individuals of white hare and hare hare were released into the natural territories of Moscow. This year, about 250 animals have already been prepared for independent living.

"The events are organized jointly with the narrow-profile rehabilitation center "House of the Hare". For many years he has been helping animals in trouble," the message says.

In Moscow, both species are listed in the Red Book. A special program can help restore their numbers.
