The press service of the Clean Arctic project reported that the participants of the Clean Arctic-Vostok-77 expedition collected data on the current state of tourist locations in Karelia, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk. This information allows you to determine the basic principles of the formation of tourist flows and their management.

The digital headquarters of the expedition will offer tour operators to test a new model of promotion of tourist products and feedback from tourists. According to the idea of the authors of the initiative, the neural network will be able to calculate deviations from the prescribed course of rendering services and manage tourist flows.

The neural network is trained not only to control the provision of tourist services and the movements of tourists, but also to control the work of the entire marketing network tied to the tour service complex. The report notes that the neural network has already developed a logo and corporate identity for the ticket sales network and the tourist safety system. Moreover, it is for the North that it is proposed to sell vouchers even to car tourists in order to ensure their safety and protect them from unnecessary expenses on the route.

Scientists expect that their research data will be useful to the leadership of the northern regions for more informed planning of work in the tourism sector in 2024. Moreover, sociological studies of the domestic tourism market in a number of Russian cities show a steady increase in the interest of certain groups of urban residents in the cognitive or sanatorium-resort potential of the North.
