The scientific library and the art museum of the Murmansk region have developed unique walking tours that will allow guests to get acquainted with the polar capital, and northerners to discover the city from the other side. This was announced by the Tourism Committee of the Murmansk region on its website.
Thus, the Murmansk Regional Scientific Library invites you on a tour based on more than a century of the city's history, which is somehow reflected in literary works.

This tour was developed by the chief librarian of the local history department, a certified guide-translator Alena Bakhtina. The route is based on a literary guide to Murmansk, published by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Pavel Fedorov.
