Russian citizens are increasingly interested in cruise trips to the Arctic. In 2023, the tourist flow to the Arctic exceeded 1.1 million people, the Russian Union of Tourism Industry reported.

"This year, for example, we will have three cruises to the North Pole, two of which have already been fully sold," said Tamara Naumenko, marketing Director at Poseidon Expeditions.

Poseidon Expeditions has been organizing cruises to the Arctic and Antarctic for more than 20 years. It is also the only tour operator in Russia that offers a trip on the icebreaker “50 Years of Victory”, the largest of the Arctic nuclear-powered ships, it is designed for 124 passengers.

This summer, he will make three cruises on the route Murmansk – North Pole – Franz Josef Land - Barents Sea – Murmansk.
