The Russian military, as part of the work to eliminate environmental damage in the Arctic, exported more than 31.000 tons of scrap metal to the mainland.

This was announced at a thematic conference call by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. "During the navigation period, work continued to eliminate environmental damage in the Arctic. In total, since the beginning of the project, more than 31.000 tons of scrap metal have been exported to the mainland," he said.
