The press service of the Roscongress Foundation reported that on September 11, as part of the Vladivostok Economic Forum, a meeting of the presidium of the scientific and expert council of the State Commission for Arctic Development will take place.
The Council was formed in June this year. It included representatives of the largest Russian universities and research institutes, government bodies, as well as companies implementing investment projects in the Arctic.
It is expected that the meeting participants will discuss methods for assessing the effectiveness of scientific research in the Arctic, the latest technologies for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as the new competition of Arctic technologies “ArkTek”.
The message notes that the Council is intended to become a key platform for interaction between business, scientific organizations and government bodies on issues of scientific and technical support for the development of the Arctic.
