More than 500 volunteers of the "Clean Arctic" in Naryan-Mar collected over 100 tons of waste

More than 500 Clean Arctic volunteers in Naryan-Mar collected and sorted over 100 tons of waste in the forest zone, the organizers said.

The action was held for the first time in the format of team competitions. Residents of different settlements of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug came to the "Clean Games": Carry, Shoins, Karatayki, Ust-Kara. The event marked the start of the Ecoarctic Environmental Forum, which has been held in the region for the fourth year.

Earlier, Arctic volunteers carried out cleaning in the shift settlement of Old Varandey, where 300 tons of waste were prepared for shipment in 10 days.
