Meeting of eco-volunteers of Yamal took place in the Polar Urals

Fifty activists from various municipalities of Yamal went to the Polar Urals. This is the first large-scale meeting of Yamal eco-volunteers of various movements - EcoSystems, Green Arctic, Future of the Arctic, Do it!, local volunteer groups.

The project "Spirit of the Arctic" started on August 9 and ended on August 13.

“The main idea of this year is to scale up the existing “green initiatives” and develop new environmental projects,” the message says.

Spirit of the Arctic has been implemented since 2018 near the Rai-Iz mountain range in the Polar Urals. The project is a finalist in the Volunteer of Russia competition.
