More than 25.000 people attended the Taste of the Arctic festival in Murmansk, where more than 13.000  portions of Arctic dishes, 7.000 portions of drinks and 150 kg of fish were sold to the guests.

Among the sales leaders are "pockets" with Arctic additives, pancakes and waffles, ear, meringue roll with cloudberry, pilaf with venison and northern burgers.

Among the participants of the festival, which became one of the events celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Murmansk region, more than 5 thousand gifts were raffled off, including "polar explorer passports", sauces from northern berries, trips to the Kola Arctic.

Gastronomic tourism is on trend today – and the Murmansk region, which has good transport accessibility, is becoming one of the centers of attraction for lovers of northern delicacies, reports porarctic.ru reports.
