Clean Arctic volunteers collected five tons of garbage in Pechenga district

Clean Arctic volunteers collected five tons of garbage in the military settlement Sputnik and on the banks of the Kolosjoki River in the Pechenga district in the Pechenga district.

The environmental campaign is being held there for the second time. 

"The result is appropriate: only five tons of waste compared to the two hundred that our volunteers collected last year," commented Andrey Nagibin, head of the Clean Arctic project. 

Clean Arctic has become a platform that unites public and volunteer organizations, scientists, heads of regions and businesses. The project partners are Norilsk Nickel, Rosatom, Phosagro and Russian Railways.
