Extreme athletes celebrated the Old New Year in Yakutsk by spending the night in an igloo at a temperature of minus 50 degrees Celsius. This was told to journalists by the famous climber and extreme climber Yevgeny Krivoshapkin.
According to him, inside the igloo, which is located in the locality of Chochur Muran and accommodated ten people, the air temperature reached plus two or three degrees.
The igloo is a traditional winter dwelling of the Eskimos.
