A trip to the Polar Urals can now be made at any time of the year. The Yamal project "Obdora" has launched an online resource with 100 locations, of which more than 20 were taken from a bird's-eye view.
"All locations are shot in high resolution with great detail and high dynamic range. To shoot VR content, hiking ascents are made in its hard-to-reach places," the YAMAL-ARCTIC Telegram channel reported.
Obdora is the ancient name of the Siberian land along the lower reaches of the Ob River, in the northernmost part of the Eurasian continent. The central place is the Polar Urals, which stretches across two territories at once - Yamal and the Komi Republic.
