A resident of Australia, 61-year-old Raymond Reilly was inspired by the Nenets culture and visited Yamal to learn more about it.

"I watched a lot of documentaries about indigenous peoples both on television and on YuoTube, from there I learned about the Nenets in the tundra. This is an interesting topic for me," Reilly said in an interview with a local TV channel.

Aimon drove half of Yamal. I visited Salekhard, Labytnangi and Novy Urengoy.

In Aksarka, the researcher lived for a day in the Nenets plague, in Nadym he got acquainted with the history of the 501st construction site. He completed his journey in Noyabrsk.

The Australian plans to return to Yamal in 2025 to take part in the Reindeer Herder's Day, sever-press.ru reports.
