A 17th-century chessboard found by archaeologists in the Arctic

Participants of the research expedition organized within the framework of the project "The first Russian polar sailors off the coast of Taimyr" told about the most interesting artifacts found at excavations off the coast of Taimyr.

According to the organization "Archaeological Research of Siberia", among the finds of the greatest value are a chess board of the 17th century, hunting and fishing tools, as well as preserved shoes of pioneers.
