The semi-finals of the Ecosophy project of the presidential platform "Russia - a Land of Opportunities" have ended in the Tyumen Region.
The Ecosophy competition is being implemented as part of the Social Elevators for Everyone federal project of the Education national project.
At the solemn closing ceremony of the third semi-final of the Ecosophy project, Aleksey Agafonov, First Deputy General Director of the ANO Russia – a Land of Opportunities, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He stated that today the project community is almost 50 thousand people. And 28 contestants made it to the final. THEY did a great job of involving people in an ecological way of life. "You organized a large number of events at four city venues on your own: 23 lectures, 50 master classes, 7 eco-quizzes. In addition, you underwent a fairly serious expert assessment, solved complex large-scale cases of the all-Russian level. Everyone who gathered here today really moves our country forward in the field of environmental issues, involve more and more people. And I'm sure this is our common, main victory! Thank you again and don't forget that Russia is a country of opportunities! ", he said.
Alexey Agafonov expressed his gratitude for the support and productive work in preparing the semi-final to the government of the Tyumen region and personally to the governor Alexander Viktorovich Moor, deputy governor of the Tyumen region Alexei Vladimirovich Raider, the department of education and science of the Tyumen region, the department of culture of the Tyumen region. Separately, he thanked the partners - SIBUR PJSC and the Tyumen Ecological Association for the program that they managed to draw up and implement together, colleagues from the Russian Railways branch of the Tyumen region of the Sverdlovsk Railway for a wonderful case, as well as the entire Ecosophy project team, experts and curators of nominations, trackers and moderators.
Director of the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region Elena Ulyasheva invited all the participants of the semi-final to visit the Tyumen Region again, and Vadim Petrov, Chairman of the Public Council of Roshydromet, State Secretary of the Russian Ecological Chamber, Chairman of the Expert Council of the Ecosophia project, noted the consonance of the motto of the project "Ecosophia - a New Philosophy" with the main trend of the green agenda of the Russian Federation - the formation of a new ecological culture.
