The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region has announced a new themed cruise prepared with the participation of the A.P. Chekhov Literary Memorial Museum-Reserve "Melikhovo". The four-deck passenger ship "Anton Chekhov" will follow the route Moscow - Uglich - Yaroslavl - Kostroma - Myshkin - Moscow.
The cruise will start on May 12th. Museum staff have prepared a rich program that will take place on different platforms of the liner and will be included in the general cultural poster of the trip. Guests will be able to visit the on-board library and read the works of the classic right on the ship.
"During five days, the participants of the cruise will get acquainted with interesting facts from the life of the Russian writer, as well as learn about the peculiarities of the work of the Melikhovo Museum and the A.P. Chekhov Museum of Letters. In addition, interactive classes, master classes and educational lectures will be organized on the liner," - the message says.
