Russian Tourism Forum "Travel!" will be held from 8 to 11 June in Moscow, at VDNKh. The participants will discuss such issues as the development of tourism infrastructure, ensuring the comfort and safety of accommodation places, attracting human resources to build the human resources potential of the region, training personnel involved in the hospitality industry, and reducing grey areas of business.
This year, as part of the forum, the regions of Russia will present stands where visitors and participants of the event can learn more about each Russian region. Thus, the Magadan Region was the first of the Far Eastern Federal District to confirm its participation in the Travel! this year. The Amur Region, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and the Kamchatka Territory are also planning to take part in the event.
The main goal of both federal and regional authorities is, on the one hand, to create all the opportunities for business development and economic growth in this sector, on the other hand, to maintain the ecological balance and natural beauty of the region.
Vladimir Zatynaiko, director of the Travel! Russian Tourism Forum, noted the great prospects for the development of tourism in the Far East and expressed his readiness for cooperation: “The Roscongress Foundation is carefully looking at the East, working in the eastern part of the country. Our most famous forum, the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, was mentioned at the Far East – Winter of Discovery forum, as well as one of our most striking projects, the opening of the Kamchatka falconry center. All this suggests that the Roscongress Foundation is already actively working here, plans to expand the topics and agenda of events, and we are even thinking about moving some of our events here, to the Far East, in the future.”
Forum "Travel!" takes place as part of the business events of the Far East - Winter of Discovery forum, which began its work in February in the Kamchatka Territory.
