At an altitude of 1600-1800 meters above sea level, 335-356 millimeters of precipitation fell. According to meteorologists, this exceeds the norm of November, which is 151-184 millimeters. In the near-ridge zone, the height of the snow cover is already 65-80 cm, and in some local leeward areas, the increments reach one and a half meters.

Another heavy snowfall is expected by the end of the week, which will bring up to 80 centimeters of snow. At the elevations of 1900-2500 meters above sea level, a stable snow cover has already begun to form, which provides the necessary basis for the preparation of ski slopes. Thanks to the snow that fell, for the first time in the 2023/24 season, snow trucks went to work, which collected snow into the trackbed. The winter season of 2023/24 starts at the Rosa Khutor resort on December 1, the ski slopes for skiing are scheduled to open on December 22.
