"Travel!" Forum to Become an Anchor Event in Tourism

A meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko was held today to discuss the organization of the fourth "Travel!" forum, which will take place from June 12 to 16, 2024 at VDNKh.

The "Travel!" forum will be a landmark event in the tourism industry, designed to present the country's tourism potential and the possibilities of all types of tourism to Russian citizens, as well as to create conditions for the growth of mutual tourist flow with friendly countries.

Within the framework of the forum, tour operators and companies offering tourist goods and services will be widely represented.

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has been instructed to work out the issue of participation of friendly countries in the forum, to develop the architecture of the forum's business program jointly with the Roscongress Foundation, to provide citizens with the opportunity to purchase tours on the spot at favorable rates, and to create the most convenient and understandable customer journey for tourists at the event.

The main theme of the forum will be international tourism.

More than 20 countries have already responded to the invitation, including China, India, Thailand, Egypt, Algeria, Cuba and Tunisia.

The forum's business program will include eight main thematic areas:

• State policy in the field of tourism
• International cooperation in the field of tourism
• Development of transport infrastructure for tourism
• Creation of a competitive tourist product
• Investments in the infrastructure of future tourism
• Development of human resources in the field of tourism
• Territorial marketing and services in the field of tourism
• Introduction of modern technologies in the field of tourism

The "Travel!" forum will be one of the key events in the tourism industry in 2024.
