Split attracts tourists primarily with the Roman palace of the Emperor Diocletian. But in the summer season, guests and residents of the city are not averse to taking a dip on the beaches of the nearest islands. One of the most popular of these - the island of Korcula - can now be reached by a new ferry named after the cult Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević.
On the morning of May 20, the ferry "Oliver" set off on its maiden voyage on the route Split - Vela Luka - Ubli. It takes him only a couple of hours to deliver passengers to one of the most popular beaches of the island of Korcula in the Vela Luka bay. Tourists from many countries come here to take advantage of the developed sports infrastructure. Here, right on the beach, there are sports clubs where you can take lessons from professional trainers.
There is also a well-known surf school in Vela Luka. And a few kilometers from the beach you can visit the unique Vela Spila cave (Croatian Vela Spila), mastered by people back in the Neolithic era. In addition, on the west coast of the island there is a beach called "The Most Beautiful Beach of the Adriatic".
All this beauty can now be reached by the new comfortable ferry "Oliver" to the songs of the famous performer.
