On November 7, the summer season will end at the Rosa Khutor mountain resort. In the period from November 7 to November 30, the cable cars "Olympia", "Reserved Forest", "Caucasian Express", "Wolf Rock" and "Edelweiss", as well as the rodelban attraction will go for regular prevention before the start of the winter season. At this time, the longest cable car in Europe – "Strela" (3.8 km) will work for guests. It will take everyone to an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, where the main event venue of the off—season is open - the Strela Mountain Park. During this period, guests of Rosa Khutor are offered to use a special integrated fare "Flight on the Arrow". In addition to the cable car ride, it includes a visit to the interactive ethnopark "My Russia" and the Museum of Archeology. In the period from November 7 to November 30, the pedestrian and bicycle trails "Yeti", "Lake Traverse" and "Health Trail" (small ring) will continue to work.
In the Strela Mountain Park, you can not only capture the beauty of the surrounding mountain landscapes, but also walk through the mythical stone labyrinths, hit the "gong for weather control", wishing a snowy winter as soon as possible. There is also an exhibition of mining equipment. Guests of the resort will see, for example, a snow truck that prepares tracks and makes the famous "corduroy", mobile and stationary snow cannons that provide enough snow at sub-zero temperatures, and other special equipment. For the first time at 1600 m . it will be possible to get acquainted with the Peruvian alpacas. Several fluffy pets from the Pacha Mama Park will temporarily settle at this height for the off-season period. The Alpaca Park itself will also continue to work at the Laizo site in the Olympic Mountain Village (1100 m), where rare four-horned sheep and rabbits of the French ram breed with an ear span of up to half a meter also live.
At the top of the Arrow lift, guests will also find a new gastronomic attraction of the resort – the restaurant of classic Italian cuisine "Pastoria 1600". Its minimalist decor is dominated by wood and stone, and the panoramic windows of the terrace offer views of the majestic Caucasus mountains. The restaurant's menu includes a variety of pasta, pizza, soups, tartars and pates with juicy and fragrant local berries, as well as author's versions of famous Mediterranean salads.
On December 1, a new winter season will begin at the Rosa Khutor resort, the Olympia lift and the rodelban attraction will resume their work, movement along the Strela will continue until December 14, cable cars to Rosa Peak will be launched on December 15. It is expected that the ski slopes for skiing will open on December 22.
