The 2023/2024 ski season starts in the Bobrovy Log fanpark in Krasnoyarsk on Friday. This is reported on the website of the ski complex.

"For skiers and snowboarders, track No. 13 will open in test mode on the slope of the K2 lift. In honor of the opening of the season for the skiers, the lift will work for free until 21:00," the message says.

Route No. 13 is considered easy, it starts from the middle of the slope of the K2 chairlift and is suitable for beginners and visitors with an average level of skiing, its length is 425 m, the difficulty level is blue.

The opening of the next ski slopes will take place later when the snow cover is ready.

Blogger Denis Doropey on his channel about skiing and snowboarding (DENIS DOROPEY) has released a video review of the trails of the fanpark "Bobrovy Log".

"The height difference is 345m. A wide variety of trails according to the profile of slopes and complexity. Trails in the shade with a long preservation of corduroy. Preparation of trails by snowmobile twice a day. A small number of skiers and snowboarders in the morning. A snowpark with several lines. Large evening area. Location in the forest area. All this makes Krasnoyarsk one of the best places for carving skiing in the country," says the description to the video.

Among the advantages for the guests of the resort, the blogger noted the proximity of the airport to the city and the ski complex (about 1 hour on the way), the low cost of tickets (from Moscow and St. Petersburg are even cheaper than 5 thousand rubles), quick access from the city by taxi or public transport (about 20 minutes), the availability of 4 of the 5 best Siberian restaurants".

Doropei did not ignore the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, which guests of the resort can visit.

"One of the best national parks with walking routes right in the city," the blogger noted.

In addition, in his opinion, "Beaver Log" has "very affordable skipasses in comparison with other skis."

"From the cons: there is no freeride - this is purely a downhill skiing. A noticeable number of people on weekends - it is better for visitors to plan a day of visiting Krasnoyarsk or the national Park for the weekend," Doropey writes.

In the video review, he also stopped at the evening skiing area at the resort.

"The evening skiing area is larger than in Sheregesh, there is a snowpark. A good alternative to a fitness club after work," says the blogger.

Fanpark "Bobrovy Log" was opened in 2006, it was built as part of a public-private partnership with the company "Norilsk Nickel". In 2019, it became one of the venues of the Winter Universiade.
