The Russian museum community expresses its sympathy and support to the victims of the funeral actions

There is Memorial Day of the victims of the terrorist attack 22.03.24. in Russia today. The editorial board of EcoTourism Expert mourns with Russia and expresses words of sympathy and support to the families of those killed and injured in this terrible tragedy.

Entertainment events have been canceled across the whole country on this day. The museums joined the action and decided to express their support in a special way. This is reported by Elena Kharlamova, Director of the Department of Museums and External Communications of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, in her Telegram channel.

According to her, a memorial bell will sound in Tauride Chersonesos at 12.00. In Pskov, the bell will sound in the ancient Mirozhsky monastery (12th century). All the museum ships of the Museum of the World Ocean will sound the horn at 12.00. The Novgorod Museum-Reserve at 12:00 will give forty strokes to the Big Bell of the Novgorod Kremlin. The Borodino Field Museum informs, that all the temples of the Mozhaisk deanery join it and at 12.00 their bells will strike 40 times.
