The rating of the best Russian resorts for snowboarding in 2022, based on the results of an online survey on which resort is best for snowboarding, was presented by the tourist portal TurStat. More than fifty thousand visitors of the portal took part in the survey.

“The top ten snowboarding resorts in Russia include Rosa Khutor in the mountains of Sochi, Sheregesh in the Kemerovo region, Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria, Belokurikha in the Altai Territory, Abzakovo in Bashkortostan, Bolshoy Vudyavr in Murmansk region, the resorts of Sorochany in the Moscow region and Bobrovy Log in Krasnoyarsk, as well as the resorts Gorny Vozdukh in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Gora Belaya in the Sverdlovsk region,” the rating compilers report.

According to TurStat, the Rosa Khutor resort in the mountains of Sochi received 27% of votes in an online poll as the best resort for snowboarding, Sheregesh in the Kemerovo region - 15%, Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria - 10%, Belokurikha in the Altai Territory - 8%, Abzakovo in Bashkortostan - 7%, Bolshoy Vudyavr (BigWood) in the Murmansk region - 6%, Sorochany resorts in the Moscow region and Bobrovy Log in Krasnoyarsk - 5% each, Mountain Air resorts in Yuzhno -Sakhalinsk and "Mountain Belaya" in the Sverdlovsk region - 3% each.

It is worth noting that Rosa Khutor hosted the snowboarding competitions of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, and the Russian snowboarding championship in parallel slalom will be held at the Abzakovo resort this week.
