The ritual holiday "Hololo" to be held in Kamchatka

The official website of the Kamchatka Territory reported that on November 4, the Koryak ritual holiday "Hololo" will be held on the shore of Avacha Bay in the center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Guests will be able to taste the ancient Koryak dish tolkusha, seal soup, tortillas and fragrant tea. The organizers urge you to bring plates, mugs and spoons to limit the use of disposable tableware.

In addition, the holiday program includes traditional rites of thanksgiving, feeding seals, performances of national collectives.

The holiday "Hololo" is held by coastal koryaks at the end of the hunt for a sea animal. It includes many ancient customs, ritual dances and songs.
