The International Conference "Natural Tourism: Global Challenges and Prospects for Russia" will be held at the resort «Rosa Khutor»

The Rosa Khutor resort will host an international conference "Natural Tourism: Global Challenges and Prospects for Russia". It will take place from 06 to 08 October 2021.

The international block of the program this year will be represented by an important event - a joint session of the UN Environment Program and the Food Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, at which members of the UN country team in Russia, together with colleagues from UNEP and FAO headquarters, will voice the key points of the sixth UNEP report from series "Global Environment Outlook", as well as talk about the progress of the program "United Nations Decade for Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030)».

The conference will be attended by leading experts from Russia and foreign countries, who will share their experience in the field of sustainable development of natural recreation, active tourism and tourism in protected areas. Key speakers of the conference: Vyacheslav Fetisov, UN Goodwill Ambassador, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Anna Spensley, Leader of the Tourism Specialists Group in Protected Areas (TAPAS), World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN); Tatyana Menshikova, Acting Head of the Department of State Tourism Projects and Tourism Safety, Rostourism; Vsevolod Stepanitsky, key expert in the field of territorial nature protection; Andrey Klepach, chief economist at VEB.RF,
