The press service of the Kavkaz company.The Russian Federation" announced the launch of the first three stations for electric vehicles at the Elbrus resort. They are available in test mode in the parking lot for guests. In total, it is planned to install 170 charging stations for electric vehicles throughout the North Caucasus Federal District.

The stations at the Elbrus resort have become the most mountainous and entered the Russian Book of Records. They are located at an altitude of 2237 meters above sea level.

Electric transport is actively developing in Russia. The average annual growth of the electric car fleet in the country exceeds 90%. According to analysts, the fuel costs of electric cars are more than two and a half times less than those of cars with an internal combustion engine. According to the Ministry of Economic Development, in 2024, the network of fast charging for electric vehicles is planned to be expanded to 65 regions.
