The press service of the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported that a new 260 km long tourist route will appear in the region - the "Big Yamal Trail".
The trail will run through the main natural attractions of the region. Among them are the Ingilor Nature Park and the Morozov cordon. It is here that the world's largest musk ox nursery is located.
At the moment, the project of landscaping, design of buildings and other infrastructure facilities is being developed. They will be created taking into account climatic features. Observation decks, recreation areas, gazebos, tables, tent decks, fire zones, garbage collection areas and toilets will be built for tourists.
The Morozov cordon will be divided into several zones. It is planned to install cabins, a sauna, observation towers for animal observation, a visitor center and build a parking lot on the tourist and recreational territory. The administrative and economic zone will be equipped for work and accommodation of employees of the nature park.
In addition, a park of art objects will be created, where models of Ice Age animals will be presented: mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, woolly rhinos. It is also planned to create an observation deck "Eagle's Nest" at an altitude of 160 meters, overlooking the valley of the Bolshaya Hadata River, the mountain ranges of Pusierka and Nyarope.
