The press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region reported on the progress of construction of the second stage of the bicycle path “from spit to spit”. Its total length is more than 54 km.
The second stage of the bike path begins in the area of the village of Primorye, Svetlogorsk district, and goes out to the Baltiysk embankment at the memorial complex to Empress Elizabeth Petrovna.
The press service noted that for the convenience of carrying out the work, the second stage is divided into 5 stages. Currently, work is underway from the intersection of the roads “Primorye - Donskoye” and “Zelenogradsk - Primorsk via Svetlogorsk” to the village of Sinyavino. In sections of the future bike path, excavation work has already been completed, a sand base layer has been laid and side stones have been installed. In the Sinyavino area, road workers are making an interception site.
The total length of the bike path will be 88 km. The project provides for the construction of two traffic lanes, each 1.25 meters wide. Under the contract, work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
A full count has already been conducted in 112 municipalities of the Republic of Bulgaria. The census of nests in the rest of the country will continue in the summer of this year.
